About the Opportunity
Are you passionate about technology and risk? A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Technology Risk Manager to join their dynamic Compliance and Risk team. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in protecting the business's digital infrastructure, data, and systems.
You'll work closely with teams across Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Security to proactively assess and manage risk across change management, data governance, and information security. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a robust risk management culture and enhancing the company's security posture.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead comprehensive risk assessments of technology systems and infrastructure.
* Develop and maintain risk frameworks, policies, and procedures.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on emerging technology risks and control effectiveness.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
* Collaborate with technology and business teams to implement risk mitigation strategies.
* Contribute to incident response, disaster recovery planning, and risk-in-change processes.
* Provide clear, concise reporting to senior stakeholders and support audit processes.
* Promote continuous improvement and innovation in risk management practices.
About You
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, security principles, and risk frameworks.
* Technology risk experience with exposure to either ISO27001, NIST, SOC 1 or 2.
* Experience working in a high-risk industry e.g. financial services, banking, healthcare, gambling etc.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments and control testing.
* Comfortable working across cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical risks to non-technical audiences.
* Familiarity with business continuity planning, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance.
