Join our mental health team at Wyong Hospital as an Enrolled Nurse to deliver a compassionate and recovery-focused care, to assist and support the Registered Nurses Team within a safe and therapeutic environment.
About the Opportunity The Enrolled Nurse is an integral part of the nursing team, working under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse to support and care for patients.
An Enrolled Nurse is a regulated health professional who works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care. Their responsibilities include:
* Assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for individuals and groups.
* Administering medications and treatments as delegated and within their scope of practice.
* Monitoring and reporting changes in patients? health status.
* Supporting patients? physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to professional, ethical, and organisational standards.
* Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

* Have a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved qualification for administration of medication (including intravenous medication administration).
* Have a Nursing knowledge, skills and proven experience working in an Mental Health Unit
