, you own the experience customers live with every day — from rate changes and servicing, to retention, and the moments that define trust. You'll sit at the intersection of
customer empathy, complex regulation, and modern digital platforms
, leading teams that balance real human outcomes with serious technical and risk accountability.
What You'll Do
As Crew Lead – In‑Life, you'll lead a large, cross‑functional team responsible for the full in‑life experience, including:
* Unloan's mobile and web app.
* Customer service and retention
* Core banking, payments, and platform integrations
* Ensuring we meet our regulatory and compliance obligations
You'll set the strategy, prioritise the work, and lead talented product, technology, design, and operations leaders to deliver experiences that are simple, compliant, and genuinely helpful for customers.
What You'll Be Accountable For
* Owning the end‑to‑end in‑life customer experience
* Setting and delivering the In‑Life product strategy and roadmap
* Leading multiple squads across discovery and delivery
* Partnering closely with risk, legal, and compliance teams
* Ensuring platforms are stable, secure, and scalable
* Building and leading a high‑performing, inclusive leadership team
We are interested in hearing from people who have:
* Proven experience leading large, cross‑functional teams
* Strong product and delivery leadership capability
* Comfort operating in complex, regulated environments
* Ability to balance customer outcomes with commercial and risk considerations
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated digital platforms is highly regarded, but not essential.
