The Role
As a Senior Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day freight handling and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety and service standards, and supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the loading & unloading of large volumes of cargo
Oversee forklift operations and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Monitor and maintain compliance with OH&S; requirements
Provide guidance and support to warehouse staff
Assist with scheduling and workflow management to meet operational deadlines
Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient freight movement
Skills and Experience
Minimum 2–3 years' experience in freight coordination, warehouse, or logistics operations
Strong understanding of air freight processes and warehouse safety standards
Proven ability to take initiative and lead by example
Excellent organisational and time management skills
High level of reliability and accountability
Physical fitness for manual lifting as required
Confidence in handling and stacking heavy loads
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Licenses and Requirements
Current LF Forklift License (essential)
Current Australian Driver's License & own transport
Current ASIC card (preferred, or ability to obtain)
