Lead Interior Designer Role
Join a dynamic team as a Lead Interior Designer to drive purposeful design and innovation in interior environments.
This is a key leadership role that will oversee the creative direction of interior design projects from concept to completion. You'll work closely with clients to understand their objectives, risks, budgets, and preferences, and translate these into environments that inspire and perform.
As a Lead Interior Designer, you'll lead projects from concept to handover, working closely with internal teams, consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless delivery and high attention to detail. You'll specify and curate materials, furniture, and finishes aligned with client needs and vision, and stay ahead of design trends, sustainability, and innovation in the industry.
* Develop and implement innovative design solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs and documentation.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams).
* Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in commercial design & construct.
* Strong creative and conceptual thinking balanced with practical execution.
* Confidence in presenting and communicating with clients and stakeholders.
