About the Job
We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead our mine tailings team. As a Principal Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a program of projects for key clients through management of key stakeholders and contractors.
* Manage work programs to deliver engineering services with respect to mine waste management.
* Support multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management.
* Lead the design of tailings storage facilities and other earthen structures, from conceptual through to delivery stages.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree in civil/mining engineering or project management qualifications.
* Proven project management experience including managing multiple coinciding programs with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Background working on tailings, water and civil projects, ideally with some experience within a consulting environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentations and client interactions.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams.
* Demonstrated commitment to providing high quality service to clients within budget and time constraints.
