* A bachelor's degree in either: Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Building and Construction Management is highly desired for this role - it may not be necessary if you have had years of experience in these roles with a construction company.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software eg:, Microsoft Projects ,Bluebeam etc
* Previous experience working in the residential project, specifically in house construction and renovation; or experience working in the commercial project would be greatly regarded, but not a must
* Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
* Construction card, open Drivers licence.
Key responsibilities and duties
* Liaise with project stakeholders - architects, clients, subcontractors and suppliers, to discuss and resolve construction matters
* Prepare accurate Cost Estimates for projects. Estimating including compiling tender packages. Take-offs and ordering of materials
* Provide project scheduling, forecasts and cashflows
* Sub-contractor letting, Project cost analysis
* Issue project variations, Issue progress claims
* Ongoing review and improvement of processes and systems
* Maintain a high level of detail and quality control
* Problem solving throughout the entire project, finding & offering the best solutions
