About the job
We have apart‐time or casual role based at our Material Recovery Facility in Bundaberg. Join our friendly team and:
* Collect recyclable materials on scheduled runs around region - no overnight stays
* Operate a forklift within the facility to move product and load and unload trucks
* Complete product manifests on a daily basis
* Complete pre‐trip inspections and pre‐start checks on trucks and forklifts
* Follow WH&S processes to ensure your safety and the safety of others
We are a social enterprise employing workers with a disability to sort waste from Council's yellow top bins. We make a real difference to the environment and to the lives of our workers.
About you
To enjoy this role, you need:
* Recent experience as a MR truck driver
* Recent experience as a forklift operator with a LF license
* Availability to work Saturdays
* A willingness to participate in a Commercial Driver medical assessment which includes drug and alcohol testing
* A track record for reliability, punctuality and teamwork
