About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer the Territory Manager East will own sales growth in their territory, driving results through proactive lead generation, dealer development, and building strong relationships with growers.
You'll be the go-to Seed Terminator authority in your patch — identifying opportunities, generating leads, following them through, and supporting dealers to convert leads into sales. You'll also be backed by marketing-generated leads, but your energy, grit, and persistence in finding and chasing opportunities will set you apart.
This role is for someone who's bold, tenacious, and hungry for results — an experienced sales professional who thrives in the field, bolstering relationships with growers and dealers to drive sales success
Key Responsibilities
Hit and exceed sales targets by actively hunting new business.
Identify and pursue new customers and untapped market segments.
Develop and execute lead generation strategies to keep the pipeline full.
Follow up marketing leads quickly and persistently.
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, growers, and key influencers.
Partner with dealers to drive stocking programs, events, and sales conversions.
Provide product training and ensure dealers are equipped to sell effectively.
Support customers post-installation to ensure product satisfaction and repeat business.
Industry Networking: Attend field days, clearing sales, and other regional events to promote Seed Terminator.
Build relationships with agronomists and industry influencers.
Represent the brand professionally and proactively at every opportunity.
Reporting & Teamwork: Maintain accurate sales pipelines and activity logs in CRM software (Odoo).
Report weekly on sales activity, opportunities, and forecasts.
Work closely with the wider sales and marketing team to align territory strategy.
About You
You're passionate about helping farmers succeed and believe in practical, results-driven solutions that make a real difference on-farm. You thrive in the field and know how to turn opportunities into long-term customer wins.
Professional Experience
Proven success in agricultural sales, with an established network in the ag sector.
Strong grasp of effective sales, prospecting, and lead conversion strategies.
Understanding of best practise broad-acre agronomy and/or harvester optimisation is highly desirable.
Skills & Attributes
Strong relationship-builder with growers, dealers, and industry influencers.
Self-starter with relentless drive and hunger to succeed.
Confident communicator with polished negotiation and presentation skills.
Target-focused, motivated by setting and exceeding goals and driving revenue growth beyond each sale.
Equally comfortable working autonomously in your territory and collaborating with the broader team.
Willing and able to travel extensively to meet customers and attend key events.
This is a hybrid role, servicing the grain growing regions throughout Victoria and New South Wales. Ability to spend 1-2 days per week based out of our Echuca Facility, is essential.
