About the role
This role will lead the successful and effective workforce strategy development and implementation relating to the scope of works within the West Moreton Health (WMH) Major Capital and Transformation Program.
The primary purpose of the role is to lead the development of workforce planning strategies which align to our Major Capital agenda including attraction, growth and retention of a capable workforce, and support business decision making in relation to future operating models.
About you
- Senior level experience in workforce or behavioural data analytics, human resources and strategic workforce planning.
- Experience in managing workforce planning projects as part of an infrastructure delivery project in a large complex health care environment and the ability to understand, risk manage and escalate resourcing issues and risks pertaining to workforce.
- Highly developed writing, communication, negotiation and influencing skills appropriate to an environment of change and continuous improvement and a commitment to collaborative leadership.
- Sector-wide knowledge and workforce planning experience enabling the implementation of best practice models and ability to explore current and future training, recruitment and research opportunities.
- Negotiation, consultation, facilitation and written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to develop effective working and strategic relationships and partnerships with a wide variety of senior internal and external stakeholders in an overall environment of change and evolution
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
