A newly created opportunity for an accomplished Head of Finance to lead transformation within a globally recognised organisation renowned for its engineering excellence and operational scale. This succession-focused role will partner with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to strengthen financial governance, optimise systems, and embed performance discipline across the business.
The Opportunity
* Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive growth and operational efficiency.
* Oversee statutory reporting, compliance, audit, and risk management across multiple entities.
* Modernise financial systems and reporting capability (ERP, Power BI, analytics) to deliver actionable insight.
* Partner with operations, manufacturing, and supply chain to improve cost management and commercial outcomes.
* Lead, coach, and develop a capable finance team, building future-ready capability and accountability.
About You
You are a CA/CPA-qualified finance leader with a proven track record in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments. You bring a blend of technical excellence, commercial acumen, and systems fluency. Hands-on and data-driven, you thrive in dynamic, complex environments where you can shape structure, influence outcomes, and lead meaningful change.
* Progressive career from accountant through to senior finance leadership.
* Experience leading finance transformation or systems modernisation initiatives.
* Proven success partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders.
* Skilled in leveraging data and technology to drive insight and performance.
* Sydney-based, confident operating in a collaborative, on-site leadership environment.
