We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our Morphett Vale team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and be able to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual children
* Create a safe and welcoming environment for children to learn and play
* Observe and assess children's development and progress, and communicate with parents and caregivers as needed
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and attendance
* Attend professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education
You will need:
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* State certification or licensure as an Early Childhood Teacher
* At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting
* Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
