The Opportunity
As the Afternoon Shift Electrician, you will work closely with the Maintenance Fitter and Production Operators to ensure that reliability and safety issues are dealt with in effective and timely manner. A focus of this role and our Maintenance team is to ensure the ongoing availability, reliability and capability of the plants process, systems, and equipment.
Hours: Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 10:30pm.
Key responsibilities:
* The delivery of reliable, efficient and safe routine preventative maintenance activities.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with plant and machinery.
* Responding to breakdowns through prioritising and carrying out repairs in a safe manner.
* Conduct root cause analysis on failures and ensuring follow up on identified actions.
* Develop & maintain a close and collaborative working relationships across the Maintenance and Production teams.
* Completion of all documentation and record keeping requirements in a timely manner.
About You
* Electrical Trade Certificate/Licence
* Demonstrated experience as an Electrician, preferably in food manufacturing.
* PLC Knowledge essential
* Excellent fault finding and trouble shooting skills, with a solution based mindset.
* A continuous improvement approach to all tasks with a can-do attitude
