Job Summary
This pivotal leadership role strengthens the organisation's ability to deliver high-quality services to its members and communities by driving strategic planning, operational performance, and effective people management across Area Operations.
The Supervisor People and Business will play a key role in aligning people, capability, and business processes to organisational priorities. The position currently reports to the Director, Area Operations (Southern), and will soon transition to report directly to the Deputy Commissioner, Field Operations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drive strategic planning, operational performance, and effective people management across Area Operations.
* Align people, capability, and business processes to organisational priorities.
* Manage complex people matters with professionalism and sound judgement.
* Foster a positive, purpose-driven culture and support staff development.
* Budgeting, workforce planning, and performance reporting experience is essential.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
* A Advanced Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent expertise.
* Proven experience in budgeting, workforce planning, and performance reporting.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective, collaborative relationships.
* Advanced Driver Licence and the willingness and ability to travel.
