$44 - $54 per hour Super | 35 hours per week NSW State Government | Hybrid – Parramatta WFH ASAP Start | Estimated 12-month temp assignment, potential to extend About the Company Our large NSW State Government client drives integration and efficiency across long term planning, precincts, housing, property, infrastructure, open space, environment, natural resources including land, water, mining, energy and growing our industries. About the Role They are currently seeking a professional Project Officer to join their growing team in Parramatta with some flexibility to work remotely from home a few days per week. This is an estimated 12month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend. Working within the Standards & Policy Business unit, you will be required to provide end to end project support to assist in achieving Departmental objectives of a digital delivery project. Responsibilities Deliver end to end project support to the team including project plans, scope, status updates, milestones and deliverables Preparation of project management documentation including reporting, monitoring and evaluation Illicit business and functional requirements to support in delivering appropriate solutions Gather and collate information to support informed decision-making outcomes Partner with technical and non-technical teams across digital product delivery phases and business as usual environments Coordinate working groups to facilitate engagement, collaboration and contribution of ideas Identify trends and issues, mitigating risks, whilst contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality Ensure compliance with best practice legislative requirements About You Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written Exceptional stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across all levels Solid analytical, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines Proactive and confident to work independently and part of a team Supportive and willingness to learn and adapt to a changing environment Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite Requirements Demonstrated Project or Program experience Experience in digital implementation projects Government or Energy Sector experience desirable Proven experience managing tasks across multiple work streams Willingness to undergo a National Police check Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment How to Apply Applications will be reviewed within 48 hours of the job posting.
