Synergie is seeking casual Hospitality Staff/Kitchen Hand for Defence based sites at Edinburgh and Keswick, SA.
Our Client is a leading global workplace experience and facility services provider, delivering integrated solutions across sectors including defence, government, healthcare, transport, education, and commercial property. With a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and service excellence, they support complex environments through facilities management, maintenance, and support services.
* Australian Citizenship is essential due to defence site requirements.
Pay Rate: $34/hr
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist with basic food preparation, plating, and service
2. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and dining spaces
3. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
4. Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS procedures at all times
5. Support catering services for daily meals and occasional functions
6. Provide professional and courteous service to defence personnel and staff
7. Comply with all site security protocols and access requirements
Skills & Experience
8. Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or kitchen environments
9. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a structured environment
11. Good time management and attention to detail
12. Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks
Mandatory Requirements
13. Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement due to the nature of the role and defence security obligations.
14. Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with site-specific policies
15. Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including early mornings or weekends if required
