The Equities Research team provides highly informative commentary aimed at assisting institutional clients with their investment decisions, by building good working partnerships and interacting with key industry participants in multiple jurisdictions. You will research, analyse and assist with providing written and oral commentary on the sector. As an Associate Analyst, you will work closely with our Lead Analyst to provide financial analysis and financial modelling support which will contribute to commentary on the sector. You’ll assist with the preparation of company reports and presentations, build financial models, analyse large data sets to identify key trends as well as attend corporate and investment advisory sessions as appropriate for our Institutional clients and stakeholders. You will have access to company management and industry experts, as well as other industry wide conferences, as a means for fact gathering and idea generation and development. What You Offer 2 years direct experience in Equities analysis, strategy or consulting Strong technical capabilities including financial modelling, research and report writing skills Ability to communicate with clear logic and confidence Understanding of valuation and pricing techniques, in addition to strong critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to logically unpack all aspects of industrial businesses. Ability to build relationships with peers, sales teams and clients Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or in a technical field (Engineering, Sciences etc) that combines with financial acumen Post graduate qualifications such as CA or CFA is highly regarded.
