National Hospitality Brand with national portfolio of assets seek Design Management talent to join their design management team in Melbourne.
Working autonomously, Design Managers will interface with Sales, Marketing and Operations team to understand assets and greenfield sites. Creating Design briefs before extending to Architects and Interior Designers for tender and responsible for project award. Oversight of design and documentation process externally, this individual will ensure projects are set up for success and delivery on time and within budget.
Lead up to 6 projects circa $3ml - 20ml construction value each, reporting into Senior Design Manager within the Development team. Working collaboratively with the PM team and driving external consultants and contractors, in Vic and Interstate. Travel will involve, likely once per month or as and when required for project.
Ideal skillset will include:
* Architect/Interior Designer who has traversed to Design Manager on the owner/asset holder, client-side Project Management or D+C sector.
* 5-10 years experience, Food and Beverage/Hospitality Developments highly sought after.
* Excellent Relationship management experience, stakeholder engagement, negotiation and presentation skills.
* High awareness of Design, Buildability, Cost and Risk.
* Ability to work in fast paced environment.
* Interstate travel may be required.
