Receptionist/Administration – Oceanic Gymnastics Centre
Casual | Front-Facing Customer Service Role
Oceanic Gymnastics Centre is seeking a friendly, confident, and energetic receptionist to join our team. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a busy environment, and learns new systems quickly.
Hours (Must be available for all shifts)
Monday–Thursday: 3:30pm–5:30pm
Saturday: 8:45am–11:15am (Optional)
About the Role
This is a front-facing customer service position where you will be:
* Welcoming families and engaging positively with children and parents
* Managing enrolments, bookings, and general enquiries
* Replying to emails
* Using our digital systems and databases (iClass Pro experience an advantage but not required)
* Handling sensitive situations such as overdue invoices
* Working independently and staying focused in a busy, noisy environment
* Completing light cleaning tasks as needed
* Assisting coaching staff as required
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Warm, bubbly, friendly, and confident with people
* Able to pick up new systems quickly
* Experienced with databases or booking systems
* Capable of working independently and calmly under pressure
* Strong and assertive when dealing with difficult situations
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
* Strong written communication skills and excellent grammar are essential for this role
Requirements
* NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Current First Aid & CPR certification
* Availability for all listed shifts
* Customer service experience preferred
Pay
This role is paid under the Fitness Industry Award, based on experience and classification.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $24.00 – $38.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Tweed Heads South NSW 2486: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
