Solution Architect

Your new role
We have an opportunity for a Solution Architect to be part ofthe Corporate Division within the Department of Primary Industriesand Regions.
The primary purpose of the Solution Architect is to providevision, leadership, analysis and design expertise for the effectivedevelopment, maintenance and governance of PIRSA’s currentand future state ICT solutions. The role will leverage experiencein the provision of specialist technical advice and support acrossa broad range of ICT Technologies.
The role contributes to delivering the agency’s prioritiesthrough systems and technology that support high levels of customerservice and responsiveness. The role also contributes to deliveringof efficient systems and processes.
What you’ll need to succeed
1. Expertise in analysing, interpreting, and assessing the application of new and emerging ICT technologies and data
2. Experience proposing, reviewing and validating IT systems across on-premise, Cloud and hybrid environments
3. Knowledge of solution architecture frameworks, standards, and procedures
4. Experience developing strategies to define the transition from current to future state solution architecture
5. Provide advice and leadership to all stakeholders
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships within IT and the business
7. Experience in Cloud (preferably Azure) and DevOps will be advantageous
Benefits
Salary: ASO7 $106,612 - $115,137 per annum
