Role: PRAP Plus Worker

About The Role
As a PRAP Plus Worker, you will walk alongside individuals and families who are at risk of losing their private rental homes. You\'ll provide time-limited, outreach-based case management, with a strong focus on early intervention, advocacy, and community connection.
Reporting to the Entry Point Team Leader, this is a permanent part-time position, 30.4 hours per week, based in Geelong, VIC. Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.
You Will Successfully
- Support clients to establish and sustain private rental tenancies.
- Build trusted relationships with real estate agents and landlords to identify and prevent tenancies at risk.
- Help people navigate complex challenges, from budgeting to enrolling children in school or connecting to local services.
- Work where you\'re needed most – in the community, in people\'s homes, and in collaboration with a strong network of service providers.
- Be part of a compassionate and experienced team working to break the cycle of homelessness.
You Will Have
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work (or similar), or significant experience in housing, real estate, or community services.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours.
- A natural ability to build trust and work collaboratively – with clients, landlords, service providers, and colleagues.
- Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- A current Employee Working with Children Check
- A current Valid Driver\'s Licence
