We are seeking a passionate and dedicated
Food Technology Teacher
to join our Marian Campus team for Semester 1, ****. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students through engaging, hands-on learning experiences in Food Technology, while contributing to a collaborative and supportive school culture.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality Food Technology curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum and SACE requirements.
Create inclusive and engaging learning environments that cater to diverse student needs.
Assess and report on student progress using College systems and standards.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents/caregivers, and leadership to support student learning and wellbeing.
Participate actively in College life, including co-curricular activities and professional development.
About You
Registered Teacher in South Australia with relevant qualifications in Food Technology or Home Economics.
Accreditation to teach in Catholic Education SA (or willingness to obtain).
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of Cardijn College.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Experience in delivering practical and theoretical components of Food Technology.
Essential Clearances And Certificates
Working With Children Check and Catholic Police Clearance.
Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care certificate.
Approved Mandatory Notification training.
First Aid Certificate relevant to the role.
