The Role
We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Creative Lead to champion creative excellence across the agency. Based in Sydney, you will oversee multidisciplinary teams across Australia and India, guiding output in UX/UI, branding, digital campaigns, social content, motion, and print.
You'll work closely with our Senior Head of Creative Services in India, who leads a talented team of 10+ designers spanning UX/UI, studio, and motion. Together, you'll uphold design quality, optimise processes, and foster a strong cross-regional creative culture.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & design excellence
* Translate client goals into compelling creative strategies and campaigns
* Lead conceptual development across digital, brand, social, and motion projects
* Guide and elevate design execution through hands-on direction and mentorship
* Maintain high standards across all creative outputs, including Nibble Edge's own brand
* Provide clear, actionable feedback that supports growth and improves quality
* Keep abreast of design trends, emerging tech, and AI tools to inspire innovation
Team Leadership
* Manage a Sydney-based senior designer
* Work closely with our Senior Head of Creative Services who leads a team of 10+ creatives in India
* Build and maintain a network of freelance designers for surge capacity and niche needs
Commercial & Client Understanding
* Understand client industries, business goals, and audience behaviours
* Confidently lead creative presentations, pitch new ideas, and provide strategic rationale
* Balance creativity with timelines and budgets, bringing a commercially savvy mindset to every project
Client Engagement
* Be the face of creative to our clients, alongside an account lead
* Facilitate client feedback and ensure alignment through all project phases
New Business & Agency Growth
* Support pitch development with creative ideas, visuals, and strategic input
* Own the delivery of internal brand and marketing collateral for Nibble Edge
UX/UI
* Oversee output from a team of 4 UX/UI designers based in India
* Lead discovery workshops and translate insights into digital design briefs
* Act as the hands-on designer for initial website and product concepts
Studio & Production Oversight
* Review and approve digital, print, and motion design assets
* Collaborate with the India-based studio lead to optimise operations, asset management, and process workflows
A Day in the Life
* Translate briefs into creative direction and distribute to the right team members
* Review overnight design work, provide feedback, and approve for client delivery
* Roll up your sleeves and develop design concepts for a new website or campaign
* Join client WIPs to listen firsthand and align creative outputs
* Contribute to a pitch meeting with the wider team

* 7+ years in a creative or design role, including 2+ years in a managerial capacity
* Strong portfolio of digital, brand, and campaign work
* Deep experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
* Proven ability to lead hybrid/offshore teams and present confidently to clients
* Comfortable working across multiple disciplines including UX, motion, and print
