We are seeking a mid-level Process Control Engineer or trade-qualified Process Control Technician with 3–5 years of industrial processing experience to join our close-knit, high-performing team.
We're looking for an enthusiastic professional with strong communication skills and a naturally inquisitive mindset. The successful candidate will contribute to a turnkey project delivery environment, supporting clients by scoping, designing, and delivering tailored process control solutions that meet operational needs.
The Role:
As Process Control Engineer/Technician you will be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing process control programs across various software platforms
* Contribute to the Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) team in generating and reviewing project deliverables
* Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
* Supporting project implementation, commissioning, and site activities as required (domestic and international travel)
What you will bring to the role:
* Degree-qualified in Electrical or Process Control Engineering or trade-qualified with extensive PLC and SCADA/HMI programming experience
* Demonstrated experience in detailed design, code development, FAT/SAT testing, and site commissioning of PLC and SCADA systems
* Strong understanding of industrial networks and communication protocols
* 2–5 years' experience in industrial processing environments (mining or minerals processing experience highly regarded)
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Experience with the following platforms is preferred:
* Rockwell (ControlLogix and FactoryTalk View)
* Emerson PAC systems
* Exposure to Siemens systems (highly regarded)
* AutoCAD or similar CAD software
