About Us ElevenX Group is a management company supporting six distinct brands across multiple industries. Through a centralised leadership model, we provide strategic, commercial, and operational support while allowing each business to retain its own identity.

This is a hands on role suited to a pragmatic, commercially minded lawyer who enjoys variety and is comfortable advising across multiple operating environments.
Your Key Accountabilities
* Manage and advise on disputes at a group level, with a strong focus on construction-related matters, including QBCC-related disputes, and QCAT and NCAT proceedings.
* Support Magistrates Court matters, including debt recovery and enforcement actions, in collaboration with internal teams and external counsel where required.
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, subcontracts, supplier agreements, and commercial arrangements across the group's businesses.
* Provide practical advice on contract risk, compliance, and dispute avoidance.
* Support the Executive Directors and SLT with legal input on commercial decisions, governance matters, and group-level risk.
* Liaise with external counsel and regulators as required, ensuring matters are managed efficiently and commercially.
* Develop contract templates, policies, and internal processes to improve consistency and legal governance across the group.
What You'll Bring
* Admission as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland or New South Wales.
* Minimum 3 years' post-admission experience, with a strong focus on contracts and dispute resolution (either in private practice or in-house).
* Experience advising on construction disputes and QBCC-related matters (highly regarded).
* Strong working knowledge of QCAT, NCAT, and Magistrates Court processes.
* Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
* Confidence working directly with executive leadership and navigating multiple stakeholders.
* A proactive, commercial mindset, you look for ways to enable the business, not just manage risk.

This role offers the opportunity to step into a true group level in-house position, with exposure across multiple industries and direct access to executive leadership. You won't be buried in billables or siloed into a single business. Instead, you'll play a key role in shaping how legal risk and disputes are managed across a growing and dynamic group.
