Remuneration: 137104.41 - 137104.41 full time equivalent base salary range (excludes super, leave loading and salary packaging)

What you'll be doingThe Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) is pivotal to the coordination of safe patient care, ward management and leadership with an understanding of the 'children first & foremost' philosophy to ensure optimum service delivery.
The NUM acts as a leader with advance role model skills that promote culture and standards that reflect the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
• Leads, directs and co-ordinates safe patient care
• Ensures practice is safe and effective, maintaining standards of care through continual quality improvements initiatives
• Manages the ward effectively and within agreed allocated resources.

* Current Authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and experience with a demonstrated commitment to professional development.

Where required, overseas qualifications must be formally assessed by the Department of Education or relevant authority for recognition in Australia.
