Central Queensland Region is looking for a talented and experienced policy advisor and senior officer to support the work of the Education Services team!
This key role supports strategic and operational delivery of services across the region, including policy advice to Principals, support of a strong instrumental music program, vocational education, training and industry partnerships across the region, and oversight of teams that support and manage representative school sport. We ideally need someone with strong brief writing skills and experience managing diverse teams across five regional offices.

About The Role
Responsibilities include:
* Support the Executive Director in the business planning functions associated with the strategic and operational delivery of services.
* Implement agreed systems and processes to monitor and assess education services to schools and regional performance in line with organisational priorities and agreed objectives.
* Lead the coordination of high-level, accurate policy advice and support to schools and regional leaders.
* Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the region, in other regions, and with departmental divisions to identify and develop proactive responses to emergent and contentious issues.
