Retail Buyer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Professional to join our team in Queensland. As a Retail Buyer, you will play a critical role in sourcing and purchasing products for our business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences.
2. Develop and implement effective pricing and marketing strategies.
3. Select and purchase high-quality products that meet customer needs.
4. Evaluate supplier options based on price, quality, and reliability.
5. Liaise with management to plan sales promotions and ensure timely deliveries.
6. Analyze sales data and inventory levels to optimize stock management.
7. Negotiate purchase agreements with suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* AQF Certificate III or IV, or at least three years of relevant employment experience.
* Proven track record in purchasing and supply chain management.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Benefits:

* A competitive remuneration package of $75,000 - $85,000.
