About Tritton Operations
The Tritton Copper Operations are a cornerstone of Aeris Resources' copper portfolio. Located approximately 50km northwest of Nyngan in regional NSW, the operation comprises multiple underground copper mines, a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, and associated infrastructure. The site has a strong record of copper production and continues to expand through ongoing exploration and development of satellite deposits.
Role Purpose
This position is critical in supporting the safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of Tritton's underground mining and processing activities. The successful candidate will contribute to Aeris' long-term copper production strategy by ensuring operational excellence, compliance with safety and environmental obligations, and alignment with company values.
Key Responsibilities
* Support safe and efficient operation of underground mining and processing assets.
* Deliver production and/or technical targets in line with budget and forecast requirements.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, productivity, and cost management.
* Maintain compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company standards.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geology, engineering, processing, maintenance).
* Contribute to workforce capability and culture, supporting development of local and FIFO employees.
Skills and Experience
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or trade background (depending on role).
* Demonstrated experience in mining or heavy industry operations (underground preferred).
* Strong safety leadership and risk management capability.
* Ability to work effectively in a site-based roster environment.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
