Job Description
Your role as a Store Design Assistant will see you working within one of the most successful retail organisations in the country! Reporting to the Retail Design Manager, you will be responsible for providing store design/ArchiCAD support for our JB Hi‐Fi stores in Australia and New Zealand. As part of the Retail design team this will see you partnering closely with a diverse range of internal support teams and external design resources to support design requirements.
Design
* Provide design/ArchiCAD support to the Retail Design, Store Development and Merchandise Services teams.
* Produce detailed Store, Merchandise and Back of House documentation.
* Focus on design and maintenance of Merchandise Initiatives.
* Ensure all stores are designed to relevant building codes.
* Conceptualise.
* Support 3D modelling of fixtures, category and brand concepts.
* Conceptual layout plans of department and merchandise positioning.
* Collaborate and document.
* Work collaboratively with Merchandise Services to ensure product ranges and layouts comply with the latest company initiatives.
* Ensure As‐Builts are documented.
* Maintain & communicate department templates.
* Support and review Merchandise Services requests.
* Maintain live projects.
Qualifications
* Relevant certificate/tertiary based qualification or relevant experience.
* Retail experience preferred.
* Experience in complex projects and interacting with cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of CAD and design software required – ArchiCAD preferred.
* Experience in space planning and retail design.
