**About the Wollert Community Farm**
The Wollert Community Farm, located at our Aurora Treatment Plant, is a partnership with Melbourne Polytechnic and Whittlesea Community Connections. Our shared vision is to create a farming enterprise and community food hub which uses best-practice sustainable agriculture and land management, provides pathways to employment, and demonstrates the circular economy in action. Whittlesea Community Connections will establish a social enterprise indigenous plant and seed nursery on site that will significantly contribute to greening Melbourne's northern growth corridor, while Melbourne Polytechnic will provide education in conservation and regenerative agriculture. We're also working with the Wurundjeri Narrap Rangers Natural Resource Management team, who have led the creation of a restoration plan for endangered grasslands on the site.
