As a Senior Partnerships Manager, you will drive sponsorship targets for flagship events within our portfolio, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and fostering innovative partnerships that reinforce our industry leadership. Your key responsibilities will include leading digital and event sponsorship initiatives, securing high-value partnerships to enhance our market position and revenue growth.
You will also develop and nurture strategic alliances, managing high-value client portfolios to strengthen relationships and maximize commercial potential. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Commercial Director, crafting compelling sponsorship packages and securing top-tier partnerships that align with business goals.
To succeed in this role, you will need to optimize trade advertising, events, and sponsorship opportunities, ensuring market-responsive solutions that boost revenue and industry leadership. You will define market segments and growth strategies, leveraging deep industry insights to shape commercial models and drive future opportunities.
Our ideal candidate will have existing relationships within the media, marketing, advertising, or publishing industries, providing access to key decision-makers and commercial opportunities. A proven track record in B2B commercial development and experience selling multi-tiered sponsorship packages, digital advertising solutions, and event partnerships is essential.
A minimum of five or more years' experience in a new business development or similar commercial role, exposure to international markets and cross-border sales, and a strong understanding of the media and marketing ecosystem are also required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are necessary, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and travel as required.
