About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our client's team in Landsdale. This role is responsible for end-to-end accounts receivable processing, managing customer accounts, securing timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will play a key role in reducing aged debt, maintaining compliance with credit policies, and ensuring high-quality communication with customers and internal stakeholders. This position suits someone detail-oriented, analytical, and confident in managing their own ledger with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform full AR functions including cash receipting, customer reconciliations, credit returns, and account closures
* Communicate with customers to secure timely payments and manage overdue accounts
* Accurately process bank transactions and remittances
* Complete customer credit approvals and update credit limits in line with risk assessments
* Update insurance coverage and maintain current credit applications
* Prevent losses through effective credit management and risk monitoring
* Prepare accurate documentation and maintain account records
* Produce AR reports as required and support audits or internal reviews
Skills & Experience
* Strong administrative capability
* Proven experience in accounts receivable processing
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to interpret and create documentation accurately
* Strong data extraction and analysis skills
* Effective communication with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
* ERP system experience (highly desirable)
