**Position Information**:
Punchbowl Boys' High School is a comprehensive secondary school with a number of future-focused flexible learning spaces including a Trade
- Training Centre, Barber Shop and Cafe' located in Sydney's South Western area. The student enrolment of 478 is culturally and linguistically diverse with 98% of the students from a non-English speaking background and 20% requiring some level of EAL/D (English an additional language or dialect) support. Students participate in a wide range of engaging learning experiences focused on building the relevant academic and social skills required to make a successful post-school transitions.
**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach Science 7-12, Biology and Chemistry with a demonstrated capacity to build a culture of high expectations and support the achievement of strong academic outcomes.
Capacity to work as a collaborative faculty member in designing and delivering differentiated curriculum for a range of diverse and complex learners.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning programs, responsive curriculum implementation and resource development to cater for students of all abilities.
Highly developed interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, carers and the wider community.
