Based at the Queen Elizabeth Centre, our Prosthetic and Orthotic service is an integral part of a cutting-edge rehabilitation network within a purpose built, state-of-the-art facility. Here, you'll be working in a vibrant, high energy team that's always looking to the future of healthcare. With exposure to both inpatient and outpatient care, you'll make a meaningful impact across all age groups, helping individuals in their journey to recovery and improved mobility.
Our comprehensive services cover everything from acute care to ongoing outpatient treatments, catering to a diverse client base including TAC, WorkCover, and NDIS clients. We specialise in custom made and prefabricated orthoses and have recently introduced advanced CAD CAM technology, bringing innovation to our clinical practice.
As part of our rotating Grade 1 position, you'll gain experience in multiple core areas such as:
Prosthetic and Orthotic care for acute and rehabilitation inpatient
- s Paediatric and adult outpatient orthotics in both private and public setting
- s Working in specialised clinics like the High-Risk Foot Clinic and Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) Clini
- c Hands on interim and definitive prosthetic managemen

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assess, design and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Provide ongoing adjustments and maintenance of devices to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of practice processes and patient care standards
**Qualifications and Skills**:
Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (or equivalent
