We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our workshop based in Port Hedland. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating work, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring quality outcomes for clients and the business.
The Role/Responsibilities:
* Supervise day-to-day workshop operations and staff (HD Mechanics)
* Schedule and coordinate work to meet deadlines and quality standards
* Lead, mentor, and support mechanics and workshop personnel
* Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and contractors
* Approve work orders, service documentation, and parts requisitions
* Ensure WHS/OHS compliance and promote a strong safety culture
* Manage backlog repairs and support continuous improvement
* Ensure tooling, workshop, and yard are maintained to company standards
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience in a Supervisory role within the construction sector (or similar)
* Extensive experience working on mobile plant
* Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Trade Certificate
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage parts, materials and maintenance records
* Strong leadership skills
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
