Join the Prosthetic, Orthotic and Podiatry Services team at PA Hospitalas a Senior Prosthetist/Orthotist in this permanent full-time opportunity. In this role, you will deliver advanced Prosthetic and Orthotic clinical services across acute and rehabilitation settings, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support complex patient care, drive service improvement initiatives.

Your new role:
This is a senior clinical opportunity where you'll operate with a high level of autonomy, delivering specialised prosthetic and orthotic services while contributing to service development and clinical excellence across Metro South Health.
* Deliver high-level prosthetic and orthotic assessment, intervention and evaluation within a multidisciplinary team
* Act as a clinical reference point, providing expert advice and support across complex patient presentations
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement and research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
* Provide supervision, mentoring and training to HP3 clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants
About You
* You're a confident senior clinician who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about advancing patient care and clinical practice.
* Demonstrated expertise in prosthetic and orthotic clinical service delivery across complex caseloads
* Strong ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and influence clinical outcomes
* High-level communication, problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills
* Proven experience in supervision, education and contributing to service improvement initiatives

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
