About the role :
Aurizon is seeking expressions of interest from safety focused individuals who would like undertake training to become a locomotive driver. To excel in this position you will relish to opportunity to learn new skills and put into practice what you are taught in the classroom to become a professional train operator.
24x7 rotating shift roster 365 days a year includingnights weekends and public holidays
Apply theoretical knowledge from training to practical operation
Work in accordance with Aurizons safety and operational standards and procedures
Undertake Locomotive driver training and successfully complete modules within six months.
About you :
All-encompassing focus on safety along with great interpersonal skills
Superior team work skills
Must be available to work 24 / 7 shift roster which includes nights weekends and public holidays.
Current unrestricted Class C drivers licence
Be available to commence in the next couple of months and not have any prior commitments for the first 6-9 months of the training program.
