Own the integration platform and connect critical systems across the organisation.
* Daily rate of $1,100-1,200 plus super, 6mo + extension

This is a senior integration leadership role within a large public-sector environment delivering a major Technology Change Program. You will own the integration platform end to end, set the standards, mentor the team and deliver high-impact integrations across core enterprise systems.
Who you will be working with
You will join a well-established Technology function within a large, community-facing organisation delivering essential services. Reporting to the Program Architect, you will partner closely with the Program Director (Technology Change Program), IT Operations, IT leaders and SMEs, business unit leaders plus vendors, assurance partners and cyber and data compliance stakeholders. You will also lead and mentor Integration Developers and the Integration Support Team, setting the bar for quality, reliability and governance.

Duties and responsibilities
* Lead the planning, design and development of integration solutions using Azure Integration Services and TechnologyOne tools (T1 Connect, REST APIs, Data Exchange and Ci Anywhere)
* Own integration architecture governance - define and maintain patterns, standards, reference models and development guidelines
* Design and implement Azure iPaaS components including APIM, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Service Queue, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions and Azure Storage
* Build and govern APIs in Azure APIM, applying REST standards (Swagger/OpenAPI), versioning, security, reusability, error handling and performance optimisation
* Run technical workshops and decision forums, providing design assurance and delivery oversight across projects and vendors
* Provide Level 3 oversight and troubleshooting, driving root cause analysis and continuous improvement across platform performance and reliability
What we are looking for
* Deep integration architecture capability (frameworks, patterns, standards and reference models) plus strong API best practices (error handling, versioning, reusability and performance)
* Hands-on strength across Azure Integration Services, especially Azure APIM for API design, configuration, security and performance optimisation
* Demonstrated experience delivering integrations for enterprise platforms using TechnologyOne integration tooling (T1 Connect, Ci Anywhere, Data Exchange and TechnologyOne APIs)
* Proven leadership and mentoring experience across integration developers and support functions
* Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience delivering through structured methods (PMBOK, Agile and DevOps) and operating within governance and compliance expectations
