**The opportunity**

12-month initial Labour Hire contract with the view for extension. APS 5 & 6 level role's offering an hourly rate between $55.24 + Super & $60.26 + Super. This position will be based out of Geelong.

This is a hybrid position, offering 2 days working from home with the remaining 3 on site. Standard 37.5-hour work weeks, with an average of 8 hours per day.

**About the role**:
The APS5 Procurement is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.

**As an APS5 your responsibilities will include**:

- Providing level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information
- Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency
- Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, Procurement Policy and procedures
- Assisting with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs
- Preparing a range of procurement related documentation
- Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting
- Contributing to team and branch planning activities including identifying opportunities for improvements

**As an APS6 your responsibilities will include**:

- Leading a small team including maintaining the integrity and quality of corporate data (from third party systems or within Agency systems)
- Maintaining reporting/data management tools and systems
- Working collaboratively to develop a suitable solution to complex issues based on available data
- Designing and delivering training and support materials to internal clients
- Acting as a central point of contact to resolve systems issues between the Agency and third party such as Services Australia
- Providing content, advice and support for NDIA regulatory and legislative reporting requirements
- Developing a suite of corporate reporting tools to support branch reporting
- Providing support to compliance reporting and ensuring NDIA procurement activities are conducted in line with legislative requirements, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and the NDIA Procurement Policy to deliver value for money outcomes

**About you**
- ** Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position**:

- Adaptable and resilient
- Problem-solving skills to manage challenges productively and positively.
- Well-developed critical thinking skills
- Previous Procurement or Finance related experience
- Knowledge of SAP ESSentials or SAP GUI highly regarded
- Ability to visualise data
