We do this by providing health care and support to individuals and communities in times of need, and by actively working with our partners to address the social and environmental determinants of health.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Upper Murray Outreach Worker role aims to assist people with multiple or complex needs who have ongoing impacts following the Bushfires of 2019. * A strong understanding of the health needs and equity issues facing individuals and communities in regional, rural, and remote areas, particularly those impacted by trauma and disaster.
* Strong ability to be solution-focused, action orientated with a Can-Do approach.
* Embrace rural outreach work whilst working autonomously and with your team with the ability to stay overnight (at Gateway's expense) when required.
