About the Role
We are looking for amotivated SEE Participant Support and Administration Officer to join our Education & Training Team in Nowra on a part time basis onsite.
Reporting to theSEE Administration Team Leader, you will be employed on a part time basis, working 25 hours across Monday to Friday from 9am to 2:30pm.
- Welcoming visitors, booking appointments, and following up referrals
- Provide administrative assistance to all SEE training staff
- Provide participant support through coaching, mentoring, and referrals to internal and external services
- Utilise MTC external partnerships to develop co-case management strategies to support participants with intensive interventions such as drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness, mental health, domestic violence
- Provide one on one and group support to SEE participants and build relationships with participants, community organisations, and stakeholders to improve participant outcomes
Conduct regular appointments with participants via face-to-face, phone, online, or group sessions
About You:
The ideal applicant we are seeking will have:
- Relevant degree or diploma qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, OR a related discipline, OR a minimum of one year experience in community/social services.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Internal/External stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing conflict/challenging customer behaviour.
- Good organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds.
