We're continuing to grow and are seeking a Principal Water or Sewerage Network Planning Engineer to play a key leadership role within our team. DescriptionAs a Principal Water or Sewerage Network Planning Engineer, you will play a strategic and technical leadership role, providing direction, oversight, and guidance across a portfolio of complex engineering projects. You will be responsible for setting technical standards, ensuring quality outcomes, and supporting project teams through mentoring and high-level review. This position combines technical authority, project oversight, and leadership to support the continued growth and success of our consulting business.
You will bring extensive experience in hydraulics for pressurised and non-pressurised systems, with a strong background in water or sewerage network modelling and master planning, along with demonstrated capability in GIS. Deep experience using commercial hydraulic modelling platforms such as InfoWorks WS Pro, InfoWorks ICM, MIKE+, or SewerGEMS is essential.
In this role, you will also help strengthen and maintain trusted relationships with clients and project partners across the consulting sector, contributing to project strategy and long‐term collaboration. Strong technical review and report‐writing skills are critical, with the ability to guide the development of clear, high‐quality deliverables across multiple projects.
