We are looking for an
AI & Automation Specialist
to help us explore, build, and evolve this space alongside us.
About the opportunity
This role blends hands-on implementation with experimentation and creative problem-solving.
You will work closely with the founder and broader team to implement automation and AI-driven solutions internally at Pink Panda, support client projects, and contribute to internal product and startup-style initiatives.
This is a build-with-us role, with genuine scope to take ownership over time as the capability matures.
There are no rigid billable targets attached to this position. Learning, testing ideas, and thinking time are part of the role, not something you have to justify.
What you'll be doing
* Building and maintaining automation workflows using tools such as n8n, APIs, webhooks, and LLMs
* Experimenting with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and similar platforms as they emerge
* Improving internal systems and processes across Pink Panda
* Working on internal product ideas and company startup projects
* Supporting client work where automation or AI can create real operational or commercial value
* Helping shape how Pink Panda offers automation and AI solutions over time
* Communicating clearly with teammates and, when appropriate, clients
What we're looking for
We are deliberately flexible on background and formal credentials.
You do not need a university degree.
You do not need a traditional career history in Software Development, AI or automation.
What matters most is how you spend your time, how you learn, and what you have actually built or experimented with.
You might be early in your career and largely self-taught.
You might be more experienced, with strong technical foundations and confidence working with clients.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has hands-on experience building or experimenting with automation and AI tools
* Is comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and modern development tooling
* Actively keeps up with new technologies as part of their normal routine
* Thinks logically and works in an organised way
* Communicates clearly and professionally in writing and conversation
* Enjoys testing ideas, learning by doing, and figuring things out without a playbook
Bonus points if you:
* Are comfortable being client-facing when needed
* Have front-end or back-end development experience, particularly in PHP and/or Python
* Enjoy thinking about product ideas, business opportunities, or startup concepts
