St Brendan-Shaw College is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school located in Devonport catering for students from Years 7 to 12. The College is committed to creating a learning environment that fosters excellence, compassion and service in our students.
About you
The College is seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and motivated VET Teachers to join our team in an ongoing role. Applications are invited from individuals who can demonstrate a passion for electrotechnology and offer engaging teaching and learning experiences that will challenge and inspire our students.
The position is estimated to be for 0.7 FTE or 3 days per week for commencement at the start of Term 1, 2026.
Applicants will
* Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.
* Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching.
* Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.
* Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications i.e. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or be willing to obtain).
* Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or Specialist Vocational Education and Training (VET) Registration (or be willing to obtain).

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
