Lead Coach, Men's Team
This is a leadership position that oversees the men's sports team. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the program, including practice planning, game preparation, and coaching.
* Key Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate expertise in training and coaching to enhance the skills of team members.
2. Recruit and retain talented student-athletes to strengthen the team.
3. Monitor and support the physical and mental well-being of team members.
4. Maintain high standards of personal and professional conduct for team members.
5. Coordinate logistical arrangements for games, academic monitoring, budget management, transportation, and supply purchases.
6. Hire, supervise, and mentor assistant coaches and support staff.
7. Develop and implement fundraising initiatives, alumni engagement strategies, and community service projects.
8. Promote the success of the Athletics Department by performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
* Collegiate playing experience and/or prior coaching experience at various levels preferred.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Demonstrated ability to recruit, assess, and develop talent.
* Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
* Familiarity with recruiting software like Front Rush beneficial.
