Our organisation seeks a skilled Assistant Venue Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with revenue, people and process operations in a recreation and/or aquatic centre. They will lead by example and possess a range of skills and capabilities across all centre functions including customer experience, learn to swim programs, health and safety compliance, and pool operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide centre leadership and drive leisure centre attendance and program participation in the context of health, safety and compliance.
* Develop others through coaching and mentoring, motivating teams to achieve targets and key performance indicators.

Requirements:
* Prior experience in industry sectors such as Health, Fitness, Aquatics, Hospitality, Tourism, Retail or Business is essential.
* Proven team leadership skills and ability to motivate teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility, adaptability and resilience.
* Understanding of WHS and risk management principles.
