About The Role
Queensland Rail have a permanent vacancy for an experienced Fabricator to join our team and work within our Ipswich depot. You will be required to service and maintain our Heritage Rollingstock which includes railmotors, wooden coaches and steam locomotives based out of our Ipswich Workshops.
Day-to-day Responsibilities Of This Role Will Include
* Work with other fabricators or engineers on rollingstock modifications to ensure work is compliant with QR and industry standards
* Investigate and repair broken or fault components of rollingstock
About You
* Fitter Trade Cert
* Previous experience in maintenance and/or rollingstock maintenance industry would be beneficial.
Typical Working Hours
* Our standard working hours are from 0700 – 1600 9 day fortnight (76 hours) with an RDO every second Monday
