Overview Our client, an Australian critical minerals exploration company, is currently seeking a Chief Executive Officer. The Company holds a portfolio of strategically positioned critical minerals assets in Australia, aligned with global supply chain demand across battery metals and energy transition commodities. The CEO will be responsible for overall corporate leadership, exploration strategy execution, capital markets engagement and strategic growth initiatives, with a clear mandate to advance high-potential projects and deliver long-term shareholder value. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the Company’s critical minerals exploration and growth strategy across its Australian asset portfolio. Provide leadership across geological, technical and project evaluation programs to drive discovery success and resource definition. Oversee corporate management, financial stewardship and cost discipline across exploration and development activities. Lead engagement with institutional and retail investors, brokers, analysts and strategic partners to strengthen capital market positioning and access to funding. Prepare and deliver ASX announcements, investor presentations, quarterly reporting and market communications. Lead commercial negotiations, due diligence and transaction execution processes. Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualification in Geology, Engineering, Process, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline. Notable senior leadership experience in the mining and exploration sector, with exposure to executive or corporate leadership roles. Demonstrated leadership experience within ASX-listed exploration or pre-development companies, ideally with exposure to critical minerals. Understanding of JORC reporting requirements, ASX compliance and corporate governance frameworks. Highly developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently across technical, financial and government audiences.
