Overview

Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre (BREC) is seeking an organised and proactive Program Coordinator to help deliver our year-round program of performances, events and community activities. Working as part of the Program Team, you'll support everything from artist liaison and program scheduling to event logistics and administration, helping ensure shows and projects run smoothly from planning through to delivery.

This role would suit someone early in their arts administration career, or someone with experience in events, arts or program coordination who enjoys working collaboratively in a busy live performance environment.

This is a permanent part-time position (0.4 FTE) based in Bunbury, with occasional evening or event-related work required.

About BREC

The Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre (BREC) is a much-loved, multi-award-winning performing arts and conference venue at the heart of Bunbury and the South West. We present and host a diverse mix of live performance, film, creative learning, conferences and community events that connect and inspire our region.

We\'re proud to be a diverse and culturally safe workplace and warmly welcome applications from First Nations peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, LGBTIQA+ people, and people with disability.

2. Strong organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail
3. The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment
4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
5. Confidence using databases or administrative systems
6. A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across different teams
7. Interest in or experience with live performance, arts and community engagement

Experience working with artists, touring companies or cultural organisations or in events would be an advantage but is not essential.

What we offer

8. A permanent part-time role (0.4 FTE) based in Bunbury
9. $28-$32 per hour + super, depending on experience
10. A supportive team environment with room to grow
11. The opportunity to contribute to the delivery of live performances, events and community programs for Bunbury and the South West
12. The chance to learn and grow in the role
13. Four weeks annual leave plus two BREC Wellness Days
14. Opportunities to experience shows and events at BREC
